Production Tracks; CBC Documentary; New Libraries

I recently had the opportunity to join the Velvet Green Music roster, and contribute some pieces to its incredibly diverse library of production tracks. You can check out my artist page here, and take a listen to all the other amazing artists who have offered their talent. This year has proven to be pretty busy outside of VGM, but I’m hoping to write some more music for the catalog soon.

Coming to CBC this fall, “Wild Canadian Year” is a four part documentary that highlights some of the incredible scenery and wildlife that Canada has to offer. It’s narrated by David Suzuki and features an amazingly tuneful score by Tobin Stokes. I had the pleasure of doing orchestration and copy work for the live sessions, and I’m excited to see it all come together in the coming weeks.

In addition to VGM and other writing endeavours, I’ve been hard at work on a few commercial Kontakt libraries that are coming close to completion. They contain some really cool sounds and performance features that will interest anyone writing world music, jazz/funk, and electronic, so stay tuned for more details!
